Get the Macbook Pro. There is more to a computer than just a bunch of components stuffed into a case. There is build quality, stability, user experience, and support which are more important the the raw specs being touted by the marketing department.
Is this a serious question? The MSi by a landslide. Build quality? Stability? User experience? Bunch of specs being touted by a marketing department? You Apple fanboys never cease to amaze me. Those specs increase performance. An MSi 683gt can run circles around an imac, nevermind MAC’s highest end laptop in terms of performance. Things MSi can do that a Mac cannot: burn blue rays, run games at the highest setting (macs can’t even run games at all because no one makes games for macs!), not rip you off by charging you $ 2300 for hardware than can be found on any $ 700 pc. User experience is not only a vague statement, but completely opinion based. Build quality? Sure, but what’s more important to the average user – the build or the performance? Stability? Don’t use your computer stupidly and you don’t have to worry about any malware to begin with. Or if its really that important, run snow leopard on your pc! There are ways to do it and I can tell you right now, it is not hard to do. Bottom line is if you are a putting your machine to serious use, a mac is an absolute joke in the end.
